I redesigned an existing app and added new features to improve the user experience. Below is a small pitch to describe the updated app.
Our new updates on Hulu are available on our new app. It has come to our attention that there were some designs on our app that were not as user-friendly as we thought. Therefore, our team has been working to improve the Hulu experience on our phones for an easy, on-the-go viewing experience.
You will now be able to select a category quicker and more efficiently. Don’t like it when you are watching a TV show and it changes to another show? We fixed it! Want to view the previous episode that you fell asleep to? Simply click on our new arrow or when you are watching just swipe up.

Key Features
A new button “Episodes” was added to be able to access all the episodes directly and navigate quickly.
Instead of another show playing after three episodes of the show the user wanted to watch, it continues playing the same show. There is also the option to see which episodes you have seen already.
By adding the new feature of a swipe-up button gives the user faster access to view which episodes were played previously or played next.
The new drop-down menu to view the categories allows the user to access categories faster and in a more organized way.
By adding the arrow button, the user can select any episodes he/she missed instead of directly playing the episode that plays next.
